"In 2004, I was afflicted with Bell's palsy. The whole left side of my face was paralyzed. My eye would not close and I could not hold fluids in my mouth. My doctor told me there was nothing that could be done except maybe take Prednisone. He said that my face would maybe heal on its own. I did not want to take steroids or deal with their side effects. After three weeks, my face was still paralyzed and I feared that it would stay that way. I started acupuncture treatments with electrical stimulation three times a week and within three weeks my face was back to normal. I'm sure that without the acupuncture treatments my face would still be paralyzed.

"I felt anxious all the time. My doctor wanted to put me on anti-depressant drugs, but I didn't think that was the necessary route. I decided to give acupuncture a try and after a month, I noticed a significant change in my mood. My anxiety attacks have diminished and daily tasks have become more manageable. Who would have thought that placing needles on specific parts of my body would have helped improve my condition so much. I'm glad that I didn't take my doctor's advice."
D. Montoya, West Covina
"My son is a bit hyperactive and was having problems concentrating at school. His teacher was quick to label him as ADD and suggested I put him on Ritalin. I was stunned at her casual indifference to such a toxic drug. Thanks to the wonderful, non-toxic herbal formula made specifically for children, my son's "internal fire" was calmed, and he was able to function better. He still has his moments, but nothing like his previous behavior. I am so thankful that I found a natural way to help my son."

"My 83-year-old mother suffered an attack of Bell's palsy in January, 2007. After a week's stay in the hospital, her doctor sent her home. He told her to massage her face and keep a patch over her eye because it did not close and it was in danger of drying out and going blind. She had physical therapy where they massaged her face for her, but it didn't help. During this time, I heard about acupuncture being excellent for Bell's palsy if treatments are started right away. I told my mother about it, but she was hesitant to try. Four months passed, and her face remained paralyzed. Now she decided she had nothing to lose. Edward advised me that because she had waited so long and because of her advanced age and ill health, she might not get the results she might have had, but we started treatment anyway. She received treatments twice a week for four months and thank God, her face went back to normal. May God bless you as you continue to help other people."
T. Ramirez, Rancho Cucamonga
"I was very impressed with the results of the treatment for my mother-in-law's Bell's palsy. I received acupuncture treatments for a severe head and chest cold that would not go away. As a business owner, I can't afford to take time off. Within a week, my symptoms cleared up and I was back to work. I recommend acupuncture treatments to anyone who has an illness or has a loved one who is ill."
I. Ramirez, Rancho Cucamonga
"I hurt my back so bad I couldn't stand up straight. I was in such pain at work because I'm standing on my feet all day, that I was hobbling around. After three acupuncture treatments my back pain went away and I haven't had a problem since. It made a believer out of me."
B. Parra, Covina
"My diabetes was out of control, and I could not get my blood sugar to come down. None of the drugs my doctor was giving me worked. The special foot patches with the herbal formula for diabetes brought my sugar level down to normal within a week. Now I use them to maintain a healthy blood sugar level and I don't need my medication anymore."
R. Romero, West Covina
"To those in doubt of Eastern practices, it might be time to re-evaluate your skepticism. . . I did. After months of agonizing pain, a challenging misdiagnosis, and an unnecessary surgery, I decided I would try another approach. I admit that I was very apprehensive at first, but after a few sessions, my pain became notably less each time therafter. Nowadays, the pain is sporadic in its reappearance but after a couple of sessions, I'm moving and sleeping again. It has been my experience with Edward that he is knowledgeable in his trade, reliable, patient, trustworthy and very accomodating. But I think my favorite feature is, he is mobile, so HE comes to YOU!"
V. Rich, West Covina
"Due to a chronic injury, I have severe pain in my right shoulder that limits my ability to work. After several treatments, my pain is lessened enough so that I am able to function and live a relatively normal life. None of the pain medication or the cortisone shots that I was given did any good. Acupuncture has been a Godsend for me."
J. Brown, Riverside
"In 2000, I had a very serious knee injury and for the last 9 years I have been just living with it. I have had surgery, cortisone shots, physical therapy, tried joint medication and more, but nothing helped. I lost several jobs because of not being able to perform the work. I truly thought that I would have to live with the pain for the rest of my life until I tried acupuncture. I've tried everything else, so I thought, 'why not?' After just 3 sessions I was running again! I tried out for the police department and successfully completed their physical aptitude test, ranking in the top percentile for the day. I now run regularly without extensive amounts of pain. Thank you, Edward, for your professionalism and gifted hands. May you help others in my same situation."
E. Larson, Victorville
"I had back surgery which was supposed to relieve my constant pain. It did not. I was in so much pain that I could only walk or stand for a few minutes. I would actually have to sit down on the curb after only walking for about 7-10 minutes and my husband would have to help me up. I was also experiencing numbness and tingling from my right thigh all the way down to my foot. I was very, very miserable to say the least. I was told that even after the failed laminectomy surgery a revision of such might not even help, so I decided to try acupuncture. After my very first treatment I was so much better. I have continued to progress now to being able to walk around the block without a cane or my husband's help. I can now sit and stand for long periods without pain. Mr. Romo has helped improve my quality of life."
H. Rivera, Redlands
"After my rotator cuff surgery and following physical therapy (about one year) was completed, my arm and shoulder were becoming painful. My doctor directed me to take acupuncture. I went to Edward for five treatments and each time it relieved the pain and helped me to have full range of movement. Now, I am pain-free and am able to do the simple things I couldn't do before like lifting dishes. I hardly ever remember my surgery now.
I also had terrible allergy attacks this season with fits of coughing so bad that I couldn't even complete a sentence. In one twenty minute treatment the coughing was GONE and I was able to breathe normally again."
S. Cismowski, Mentone
"The pain in my neck and shoulders has improved. I never expected to experience a drastic improvement in mood, menstrual issues, anger issues and attention span. My sense of self-awareness and all around well-being has done a total 180. Thank you Edward!!"
